Yes, I'm spoiled, no, I haven't seen it.
I used to torrent it as soon as it aired, but I started watching for the Captain Jack from DW - the one *not* created by RTD. The charming conflicted con-artist with a 2 year gap in his memories. The one who started out self-centred, but discovered that the Doctor's sense of justice was rubbing off on him - and he liked it.
Haven't seen that much of him - maybe a glimpse in the Victorian TW flashback. Far too much Cult of Gwen - and unlike the Cult of Rose that was slipped up on us, we were expected to join the CoG in episode one. (Not that I have anything against either character, just the way RTD expects us to react to them.)
So from what I've gathered, there's plot holes (big minus), there's OOCness (bigger minus), there's an ending which, if not a "big (stupid) bang" (towing the fucking *Earth*, anyone?) is still designed primarily to get a big reaction from people, and all else be damned.
Typical RTD, then. So I'll watch it when it shows up on BBCAmerica, but I don't think I'm going to be caring about it when I do.
